About

I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Biostatistics.

I work as a Research Assistant with Dr. Jeffrey T Leek at Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center where I'm currently engaged in multiple parallel projects. My primary focus involves developing methods for Inference on Predicted Data (IPD), where we design statistically valid and efficient estimators when outcomes are replaced by predictions from AI/ML algorithms, a rapidly emerging research area as AI tools become more accessible across fields. My second project extends this IPD methodology to survival analysis for time-to-event data with censoring. Recently, I began collaborating with Prof. Barbara Lam and MIT Critical Data Team to leverage chest X-ray and EKG imaging alongside biomarker data to predict pulmonary embolism in patients.

I've developed the R-package ipd (available on CRAN) and recently received a Sloan technology grant to develop scorcher, an R-package that allows easy tidy-like implementation of deep learning models in R with minimal code. I have also worked as a resource developer for Informatics Technology for Cancer Research (ITCR), focusing on evaluating impact and engagement metrics for biomedical software in the past.

In my free time, I enjoy pursuing volunteering, photography, and watching Formula 1 Racing.
