Add Codes for Restricted Courses
Some of our courses are prioritized for or restricted to certain majors. Only courses with Restr or the > symbol next to the SLN in the Time Schedule, or notes under ENRL RESTR in MyPlan have restrictions or add code requirements.
- For courses that prioritize certain majors during a particular registration period: After Registration Period I begins, follow the instructions noted in the Time Schedule for requesting an add code.
- For all other courses that are restricted to certain majors or otherwise require instructor permission: Contact the instructor for permission.

If a course is full, you can subscribe to seat availability notifications via Notify.UW.
