About
Jingyi Jessica Li is a statistician and computational biologist whose research bridges data science and biomedical research. She develops reliable and interpretable statistical methods for analyzing complex genomic and transcriptomic data, with a focus on understanding gene regulation in health and disease. Her work emphasizes statistical rigor to ensure that scientific discoveries remain trustworthy, even in noisy and high-dimensional settings. She is also a member of the Translational Data Science Integrated Research Center (TDS IRC) at Fred Hutch, where she contributes to interdisciplinary research connecting statistical methodology with translational biology.
