I am a PhD student in Biostatistics with a background in Statistics from Brazil, where I completed my Undergraduate and Masters degrees. my broad interests are in methods for multi-omics data analysis, including data integration and graphical models. I am currently being advised by Dr. Ali Shojaie on developing and studying methods for analyzing differential expression and graphical models in spatial transcriptomics. Additionally, I am working with Dr. Li Hsu and Dr. Chad He on multivariate gene set association analysis with summary-based statistics. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, spending time with friends, and pretending I know how to cook.
