The Summer Institute in Statistics for Big Data (SISBID) and Summer Institute in Statistics for Clinical and Epidemiological Research (SISCER) will continue to be hosted by the University of Washington Department of Biostatistics.

SISG and SISMID will be held in-person in Atlanta

Bruce Weir Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics (SISG)

After 28 years in Raleigh and Seattle, the 2024 Bruce Weir Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics is moving to Atlanta. Georgia Institute of Technology, in partnership with Emory University and the Atlanta University Center Consortium, is proud to begin hosting the next phase of SISG, now named in the honor of founding Director Bruce Weir.

 

Summer Institute in Statistics and Modeling for Infectious Diseases (SISMID)

Since its founding in 2009 by Dr. M. Elizabeth Halloran of University of Washington, SISMID has trained thousands of researchers from academia, government, and industry.  SISMID will move to Atlanta in 2024 where it will be hosted at Emory University.
