I'm a PhD student from the beautiful city of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. I also studied mathematics and statistics as an undergraduate at the University of Victoria. I like music (classical, alt rock, electronic dance music), hot beverages (tea and coffee), and food (cooking, baking, eating).

In the multi-view data setting, multiple data sets (views) are available for a common set of observations. For example, multiple ‘omics data sets may be available for a common set of tissue samples, or a Facebook friendship data set and a LinkedIn connection data set may be available for a common set of people. Since different data views measure different aspects of the observations, it is often of scientific interest to compare data views. I am working on developing methods to compare low-dimensional structure (e.g. cluster structure) underlying different data views with Daniela Witten (UW) and Jacob Bien (USC).
