Graduate Program: PhD Program: Electives

Electives - Master’s and PhD: In addition to the courses listed below, students with prior approval may choose other courses to fulfill the electives requirements. See the detailed procedures for gaining approval for a course not listed below. (Note: a UW NetID is needed to access the course approval form.)

Important:

  • Before submitting a request read all instructions and doublecheck to be sure that your desired course is not already on the list.
  • Each student may receive approval of one (1) course only. Do not make a second request.
  • Seminars and other passive learning courses (i.e. Environmental and Occupational Health seminar) are not allowable for either elective list.
