I am currently working with Dr. Ali Shojaie and Dr. Eardi Lila on resting-state functional-MRI brain signals for people with Alzheimer's disease. We are investigating new methodologies to estimate group-level brain networks which accounts for individual variations, as well as developing inference framework to conduct group-level network comparisons. We apply mixed-model and penalized estimation approaches, studying both the time-domain and frequency-domain properties of the brain signals.
