I am a PhD student at the University of Washington Biostatistics Department currently working under the direction of Marco Carone and Alex Luedtke. I am currently working on developing a method for variable screening using linear or non-linear association measures.
I am also currently working as a research assistant to Martina Morris assisting with infectious disease modeling.
The primary goal of my research is to improve estimation and inferential methods used for public health interventions. This includes developing methodologies that provide the most accurate estimates of population level parameters while limiting assumptions to those that are confidently known. Much of my applied work has or will be used to help public health organizations gain a better understanding of both the current state of epidemics and which interventions are the most promising.
In my free time, I enjoy watching cartoons, going on outdoor adventures, and playing ultimate frisbee.
