There will be some registration-fee (tuition) and travel scholarships available in 2012.

Applications are due on or before Friday, 30 March 2012, and recipients will be notified by Friday, 13 April 2012.

There is no application form to complete; however, applicants must:

1. Register early for the modules and check the “Yes” button to the question, “Are you applying for a Summer Institute scholarship?” so that payment will not be required at time of registration. You will receive an email confirming your registration and a copy of your Scholarship Application Cover sheet (.html format);
2. Submit the following four (4) required items:
• a copy of your Scholarship Application Cover Sheet,
• a one-page CV,
• a letter, addressed to: Bruce Weir, Director, Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics, explaining your reason for wanting to attend the Institute and the modules you wish to attend, and
• a letter of recommendation from your advisor or supervisor

Due to University policies, we are unable to grant travel scholarships to applicants residing outside of the United States. However, we can grant registration-fee (tuition) scholarships to applicants residing outside of the United States.
