The 2nd Summer Institute in Biostatistics, emphasizing clinical trials, will be held 12-16 August 2013 (following the 2013 Montréal Joint Statistical Meetings) in the South Campus Center of the University of Washington in Seattle.
This Institute consists of a series of two-and-a-half day workshops conducted by experts in the field and designed to introduce participants to modern issues in the design and conduct of clinical trials and the statistical analysis of clinical trial data. Prerequisites are minimal, and the modular nature of the Institute enables participants to design a program of one or two modules best suited to their backgrounds and interests.
Individuals attending the Institute will receive certificates of course completion in recognition of their participation.
In 2013, along with the Summer Institute in Biostatistics, there will be two other Institutes in Seattle. Details can be found online about the 18th Summer Institute in Statistical Genetics (SISG 2013) and the 5th Summer Institute in Statistics and Modeling for Infectious Diseases (SISMID 2013) in Seattle, 8-26 July.
Registration for this institute will be available after April 19, 2013.
