I am currently a fourth year PhD sudent in the Department of Biostatistics at UW. I am interested in developing and applying spatial statistics methods to disease epidemiology. Currently, I am working with Prof. Jon Wakefield on a project involving risk surface modeling. This approach provides a benefit over existing methodology in that it is computationally efficient and can be applied to a variety of data types. Other areas that I am interested in include missing data methods and data visualization.

I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a BS in Mathematics and Biology. During my time there, I had the opportunity to intern at the National Cancer Institute in the Biostatistics Branch.

During my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking, and playing board games.
