I'm a third-year PhD student in the Department of Biostatistics. I am broadly interested in problems at the intersection of causality and machine learning. I currently work with Ali Shojaie to develop methods for estimating high-dimensional causal networks, with applications to complex biological systems.

I was born and raised in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. For my undergraduate studies, I attended the University of Waterloo, where I graduated with a BMath in Statistics.

In my spare time, I like to read fiction, participate in and moderate trivia competitions, watch extreme amounts of TV, listen to podcasts, and avoid the outdoors as much as possible (sometimes I'll go running).
