POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP
The Department of Biostatistics at University of Washington has one post-doctoral position immediately available. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct statistical methodological research in synthesis analysis, which is a multivariate meta-analysis modeling method that will allow combining different risk factor models for a disease published in the literature into an overall risk model for a disease with all risk factors and to update an existing risk model for a disease with new risk factors. This position may also involve other statistical research in regression analysis of skewed data, causal inferences for randomized trials with non-compliance, and ROC curve methodology. Appointment will be for two years. Ph.D required in statistics, biostatistics, or mathematics. Strong theoretical, computational, and communication skills are desired.
