Assistant Professor, Biostatistics (Two Positions Available)

The Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington wishes to fill two full-time (100% FTE) tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates who will enhance the Department’s expertise in methodological research and biomedical applications are strongly encouraged to apply. The Department of Biostatistics currently has more than 40 regular and research-track faculty, as well as 30 affiliate and adjunct faculty members. PhD required in Biostatistics, Statistics or related field. Duties include graduate and undergraduate teaching, methodological research, and biomedical collaborative research.The UW School of Public Health is committed to a diverse academic community. POST DOCTORAL SENIOR FELLOW OPPORTUNITY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON, Seattle WA

Applications are being sought for a postdoctoral position in statistical machine learning. The successful applicant will develop machine learning methods for high-dimensional data, with a particular focus on applications in genomics and neuroimaging, under the supervision of Dr. Daniela Witten. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in statistics, biostatistics, machine learning, or a related field.
